Christ truly is the good shepherd, as the one who laid down His life for His sheep.
However, Christ is Risen. He is Risen Indeed, Allelujah! While Scripture is full of so many examples to follow, Jesus is so much more than just an example. He is our resurrected savior, our shining beacon of hope in trying times, and He is the good shepherd who leads His flock to the promised land.
